I only found 24 videos available at this point, all viewable in either MPEG or WMV format. Of these, 16 are solo jerk-offs, four are two guys doing just about everything two guys can do together and four are interviews with some of the solo players. The guys are all very well put together and hung heavy. Most are gay, but at least one claims to be straight and doing the video mainly for the money. All of the videos are very good quality and each has a set of still pictures taken from it, even the interviews, ranging in size from 54 to 95 photos. Speaking of the interviews, I found them to be a unique and interesting touch. In the first place, the interviewer is a woman off camera, talking with them about what they've just filmed and secondly they seem to be straightforward and unrehearsed conversations with the “performers.” As for bad news, the only serious complaint I could find would be the small size of the site. But they do make up for that somewhat by including 5 other sites all for the same price ($29.95 monthly). The names of these other sites are Crotch Buffet, Boys Casting, Barely Twinks, Twinks Boarding School and Fuck That Twink. All of these have a lot of videos and photos you can access all you like. I could only find a couple of other minor complaints, those being that all the videos have a medium sized watermark on them, which I always find a little distracting and, if you opt to go for the trial membership ($2.95 for three days), it only gives you limited access to the site’s material. Perhaps as an offset to these, though, there’s no DRM, which means you can download and keep all you want, for as long as you want. My overall impression of Handy Studs is that, while the video and photo quality is very good and the site does fill a small, particular niche, the amount of material available makes the value less than excellent. The cost of this site is about average for most XXX sites, but most of the others offer a lot more material than this one. However, if your particular interest is seeing knock-out studs get themselves off and you’re willing to watch this site grow, you’ll dig Handy Studs a lot. -- Bob K See another review at The Best Porn |
